For us, few things beat breaking out the ladders and tools for a day of outdoor painting on a sunny Wisconsin Day.
How we work:
- When it comes to painting, prep is king.
That’s why we usually begin with a wash/wipe before moving on to laying down tarps and scraping/prepping of all of your failing paint surfaces. If you have rotting wood that needs to be replaced, we perform the carpentry repairs during the prep as well.
Once all of the surfaces have been appropriately cleaned/scraped/lightly sanded as needed, we move on to priming with an exterior-grade oil-based primer for all exposed wood surfaces. We offer multiple top-coats if that’s what you would like, otherwise we’ll apply a single top-coat to the appropriate coverage and leave you with a very fine looking residence to call your home.
Our Process:
We never bid projects for a client without having put our own eyes on their home first.
Pictures never tell the whole story – That’s why we schedule an in-person walkthrough to visit your home. You’re encouraged (but not required) to be present so we can ask questions about concerns you have, or areas you specifically would like to have addressed. During the walk-through we’re also examining areas which may not be normally thought of or notices. We take pictures to reference from and discuss with you the scope and working process for your specific project.
After we meet, we email you an estimate within a few days.
Our estimates are always intended to be the actual project cost.
We include all labor and materials for the project to leave little wiggle room for add-ons unless conditionally required. Although our estimates are not free, we do credit the cost of the estimate back to you if you decide to move forward with us for your project.
